Freight forwarders and brokers use BidSource to request drayage rates. As a carrier, you answer from the email they send, free and without creating an account.
Answer rate requests from the email
Each request email links to the lanes your customer wants priced. Open a lane, enter your rate and fees, add capacity when the request asks for it, and send it. There is no account to create and no password to remember.
Prefer to reply? Answer the email with your rate, or attach your rate sheet as a PDF, a spreadsheet or a photo. BidSource reads the base rate, fuel and accessorials from your reply.
Share your capabilities once
Customers can send you a capabilities form, which also opens from a link with no login. It covers:
- The markets and ports you serve
- Hazmat classes and special materials you haul
- Container types and equipment
- Services such as reefer, residential, cross dock and customs bonded
- Weight limits and special approvals
Your customers can then send you requests for the lanes you actually run.
See your quotes in one place
If you want a history, sign in to the free carrier portal. It lists the quotes you have sent and your tariff rates with each customer.
