Why the templates are built this way
- One-way base rates, excluding fuel
- Fuel moves every week with the diesel price. Quoting it as a percentage keeps the base rate stable for the length of the award.
- Fees priced once for all lanes
- Every bidder prices the same fuel surcharge and 61 accessorials, so you compare the all-in cost of a move, not just the base rate.
- Excel, not PDF
- Rates that come back in the same columns can be sorted, compared and imported without retyping.
- Primary and secondary awards
- The bid details ask for the award type up front, so carriers know whether they are bidding for all of a lane or a backup share.
Fee names match the drayage fee glossary. BidSource reads the rate sheets carriers send back, in this format or any other, and files them as buy rates for your team to review. See how RFP quoting works.
